Very much not rude. I've seen that badge before, and I appreciate it. As an extrovert myself, it would help me greatly if people wore badges like that to let me and others know where they are with their social battery. That way I could gauge whether I want to strike up a conversation with said person (especially if they're a friend) or whether it's better to save things for another time when they have the spoons for it.

It's only rude if you have it set on "High" and then quickly shift it to "Low" when someone you have no interest in talking to approaches you.
