Earlier, I had posted a comparision of the pre/post 1.7 update for Synthesizer V Eleanor Forte, but I'm in the middle of polishing up (basically "mastering") a collection of songs I've done over the last several years, re-rendering the vocals so they all take advantage of the latest SynthV updates. I noticed that the changes (for the better) were much more apparent with SOLARIA than with the other voicebanks I have. The HDVM (High Dynamic Voice Modeling) really improves her human like characteristics. I mean, I thought SOLARIA really sounded human before, but after the 1.7 update, she really outdoes herself. It didn't hit me until I listened to the pre/post update back to back.
The first clip was done back in January 2022 when I dropped in Solaria to see how she sounded compared to the original Vocaloid track (with Amy) I had done. The second clip has been re-rendered to take advantage of the 1.7 HDVM update that came out this past summer.

Soloria is super versative when you manage breathiness, softness, tension on certain phrases… it can sound uncannyly real.
