Used to save 1k a month every month for 13 years when I was a young go getter. For every 10k I saved I bought a 1oz Maple or Eagle. Later in life I rebalanced to 15% of my portfolio to gold. No regrets, especially looking at today's world. Be well!

If i could afford more than a couple grams of gold a month, I'd stack gold, but i can more easily afford 5-10 ounces in silver in my monthly budget. Keeps me from wasting money on stupid stuff, puts it to good use, and makes my treasure chest look more impressiveš

In California we have to pay tax on our precious metals purchases unless we spend $2,000. It's ridiculous. Forced to buy every 4 or 5 months, and an ounce at a time. Need to move to a free state.

That's an excellent investment. Fancy cars cost the same amount, but it depreciates immediately, plus a ton of money you need on gas & maintenance. Precious metals, you don't have any of those issues, assuming you build up the coins via dollar cost averaging

I only wish that I could buy monthly. In California there's sales tax on any purchase under $1500. Got to save it and buy the dips when you can.
