There was a kid in the US that died from being tased. Stopped his heart. As an epileptic the USA guidelines, FDA, my neurologist have all said it’s very dangerous to be tased. My cardiologist also very strongly recommends that I not due to sick sinus syndrome, pots, and long qt syndrome in my heart.

That's for this doc. I've always wondered how people remove the little harpoons once they latch on. I guess don't just pull it off in any direction

Tazer to the genitals...doesn't bear thinking about. Not only due to the electrical charge, but also the barbed points - ouch!

Hmm. This hasn't made me more or less afraid of getting tased, just more informed. Huh.

What?! Who in their right mind would tase a pregnant person? That's extremely dangerous.

Does the handgun part still attached when the recipient seeks treatment?

Can't believe these are now carried by police officers. Bloody ridiculous and horrible.

Why would anyone taser someone who’s pregnant?

I think the issue is mixing the emotional (feminine) vs the logical/physical (masculine) and the productive vs the toxic (destructive) because it avoids dealing with the true issues and only amplifies them as you deal with the situational ones. Another way to put it is that adding any adjective to a problematic situation puts so much emphasis on that adjective that it ignores the problem and overcorrects to the opposing adjective. I.e. toxic masculinity (physical violence) becomes toxic femininity (emotional violence), bigotry against women becomes bigotry against men, bigotry against blacks become bigotry against whites, empowering victimhood becomes empowering entitlement. If we take out the adjective and state "toxic is toxic regardless how or why it is done" then the person becomes forced to face and deal with their demons.

you mention pacemakers, how much danger would a taser pose to someone with one?

Okay I've been tazed before (perks of dating a cop lol, good times 😁) and it was not painful at all. Felt absolutely nothing, always wondered why that was.. I may never kno

Does the pocket taser work differently if it's not shooting wired needles?
