I use to use templates then 1 day woke up n outta nowhere realized how butt everything sounded, and Iβve been inna creative haunt for the last 7/8 months and only recently been going crazy again

It is most definitely quicker and less tedious. But i get the concern about "sounding the same". Im like that too. What works for me is setting up all the things that are rather general purpose - Bypassed Mixbus Processing - My fav Analyzer - An untweaked Reverb - An untweaked Delay - A bus for width And dont forget about saving individual Channel Strips, following this general purpose mindset. Id recommend trying that, it doesnt lock u into any sound or even genre at all. <3
