Tried it once when I was about 13. Didn’t notice any ill effects but also it didn’t work. Also tried Snap pumice hand cleaner on my face and hair ironing, in addition to all manner of ridiculous 1960s beauty treatments 😂

We tried this in the 80s and not only does it fry your hair, it creates horrible coppery highlights. Like you bleached with the cheapest box of hair dye. Don’t do it. It looks awful.
