Sure would be great to hear how these all compare as digital transports, not as a DAC. Seems like reviewers forget about those of us that have nice DAC’s. And let it be known that digital transports all sound different.

Audio gear is furniture, and it has to look good if it’s going in a living room rather than a man-cave-esque listening room. And digital-only audiophiles don’t have big, pretty vinyl sleeves to display like in the old days.
That makes big, pretty screens a killer app that I hope more dealers and reviewers will come to appreciate. Hifi Rose and Eversolo have changed the game, and I think “most audiophiles” are changing with it.

WiiM Pro here, with the ifi2 5v power supply. I am using the WiiM as a transport to a PS Audio DAC/Preamp, out to a vintage Sansui 4000 receiver/amp. The WiiM sounds just as good as any of the other more expensive streamers I have had through the house. In fact, with the EQ and PEQ, it sounds better than all of them. The software is rock solid, and the EQ is simply the icing on the cake.
