What’s your main determining factor between deciding to do a dry clean (brush plus powder treatment) and a wet clean (brush plus SH softwash). From what I’ve gathered if it’s just moss you can just brush and powder but if there’s black streaks in addition to the moss then you’re gonna need to go the softwash route. How do you sell your customer on either? I’m sure it’s nice to just brush then treat with powder just for the sake of time but I’m sure the appeal of charging more makes going the full on softwash route is nice too. Just curious what your thought process is when choosing between these 2 methods. Sorry for writing a book.

insurance company making me clean my roof and it not even that bad. I was on the fence and ended up cleaning it myself but had to watch YouTube videos to learn how to go about it so I can see how someone would pay to avoid the hassle

i promise you a lot of people would pay that price i do lawn care and ive had multiple people that would give me more for example i would charge $300 for a leaf removal and they would wanna give me $100 more

When you have to breathe it in constantly mildew and moss...it makes it very dangerous to be around so cleaning it is the best. Everybody cleans their tubs... their toilets their sinks their clothes... it's the same thing.

Or you can just buy a $15 tin of "Moss-away" (zinc sulfate), mix it up with 3 gallons of warm water, put it in a Hudson sprayer and have at it. The moss is dead and dried up in a week. Lasts for a year or so.
Then you go and buy the 50 foot rolls of zinc tape to install at the peak. The zinc leaches down over the whole roof and no moss will ever grow. Those dissolve after about ten years and need to be replaced. Total cost?, about $50.
