This myth exists because 2000’s video games only had 1 reload animation for guns so the garand could only be loaded after firing all it’s rounds

I just prematurely ejected when I heard that ping

The M1 Garand actually didn't exist before Call of Duty. They created the gun for the game and it "Mandela effected" itself into history. Prove me wrong.

It's almost as if the rifle was designed by a genius.

At least he knows the difference between a clip and a magazine.

the myth I love the most about the garand is that the ping will give you away, as if anybody can hear that ping after 8 rounds of 30-06 go in their direction 💀

Like most other guns, they’re engineered and created by fucking absolute geniuses. Everything is on that gun for a specific reason and purpose

His sense of humor is subtle and dead pan but he is hilarious. Viagra solves this. Finding the 'button' is a different matter.

“Joe drop your ammo, you have ONE round, you drop a prisoner, the rest will jump you”

Theoretically you would just have to work the action repeatedly, not shoot all the ammo. But obviously that's also dumb

As a garand owner I can say that it’s pretty fun to hold your rifle in the verticle position with the action facing outward And either press the “ejecto seat cuz” button or pull the op rod back and launch the clip at your buddies face….

You can thank the original Medal Of Honor:Allied Assualt for PC. In that game, they incorrectly programmed the M1. You had to shoot all of your ammo in order to reload. It was stupid and made no sense but here we are
