Governments of different countries orders their army to to kill each other. Millions of innocent people dies in the process. War is nasty. I hope big countries understand that.

Fire storm over there is prob the most closest thing to what “hell on earth” looks like, once I really understood what Americans did that day is utterly insane Tokyo melted that day

The firebombing of Japan was more devastating then the nukes that were dropped. Think about that.

Sometimes I think about the Japanese and World War II, and how sorry I feel for them that they were bombed through in their own country… And then I remember what they did in south asia, especially to the Koreans, and my pity evaporates.

It had nothing to do with Japan, really. It was mainly the US showing the unique power it had, a message to all other countries, principally the Soviet Union: "don't mess with us."

I dont know the varacity but some accounts from osaka say that P51 fighters would do strafing runs on fleeing civilians

Didn't the Japanese construct their buildings solely with wood? I think that's why in so many pictures of Tokyo, Nagasaki, and Hiroshima there is nearly nothing left

There is a special place in hell for those murderers and that is for eternity. There is no forgiveness because they killed them, but there is repentance, so still hope they choose the right religion, the right God.

probably a war crime tbh. I suggest the animated movie Grave of the Fireflies which is about this

And to think it only hit the city and not their farms because of the wind, which would ya know be even just as terrible if not even more disastrous and inhumane
