PRE-CHORUS VOCAL TRICK πŸ‘€

Try this vocal trick on your chorus πŸ‘‡πŸ»

Chop the end of the vocal from the chorus and put a long reverb on it. Mine is 16 seconds ⏱️

Then you need to bounce it in place so the file includes the reverb on it.

Now reverse it, put a fade on the front and place it so it ends 1 beat before the chorus starts πŸ‘πŸ»

That’s one of my favorite tricks to do. Especially on EDM type of tracks.

Ah the reverse reverb trick. Has saved me many a times when vocals just jump in and sound unnatural. Also a reverse crash cymbal or building up noise ramp also do the trick.
