Things can't "get better" until they start to get bad in the first place. All that free money in 2020-2022 guaranteed that it'll be worse than 2008. The pain hasn't even begun. Seems like common sense, but the median home price can't maintain anywhere NEAR the 7.0x the median income when the 100-year average on median home value has been 1.9x-3.0x the median income. When it crashed in 2008, it peaked at 4.9x which was also obviously unsustainable.

It was a pretty soft landing even if it does go into a recession for a few months.
For how people were yelling it was going to crash hard 3 years ago and it never did I had forgotten about it.
