Therapist here 🙋🏽‍♀️… love that people are talking about that negative, critical voice- negative self talk. It’s better to replace instead of attempting to stop the negative voice. Turn the negative monologue into a dialogue where you to speak neutral phrases immediately after. The more you practice, the better it gets. 💛

"If you wouldn't say it to a friend, a friend wouldn't say it to you" this is just so true.

I started to recover from my eating disorders a few months ago and gained some weight but even though I tried not to, I still felt so bad and disgusting about it and I was frustrated because I would still exercise a lot, but even the people close to me didn't help me because they didn't support me and kept scaring me that they would take me to the hospital no matter how much I did well, they kept worrying that I wasn't and that I was lying all the time. But you are helping me a lot to stay strong and beat my eating disorder, I love you and am so happy to see that you are doing well. Thank you very much ❤️

I can’t believe at 46 years old I still need to hear this. But I’m so proud of myself for always working to improve my brain & the way I treat myself. Your work has helped me more than anything else I’ve ever tried. Your videos helped me recover from BED after 32 years. 32. - I’m old enough to be your mama. I’m so proud of you. You have such authenticity. You are so truthful and vulnerable. If you promise to work every day to be kind to yourself, I promise to do the same. Love to you every day Ro. You are a quiet heroine doing work that truly matters. The kind of quiet work most never do. Stay in that slipstream. Stay true to your guts and your soul. They brought you here. You are a born healer and teacher. Bless you beloved. Bless your precious tender heart and soul.

Lovely reminder of how to treat ourselves. I have been watching you since the beginning of this particular journey. Thank you for sharing your path and, along the way, reminding us of what we may be doing to ourselves. Brava!
