Till 17/09/1939 Polish Army had not been beated by Germans. We started to fight at western borders not to give the pretekst for GB & France to quit supporting us. The idea was to base our defending on Wistula river. Due to lack of action of our alliances + Soviet Union attack - we just lost. All the story.

Poland had actually 2 mln soldiers but 0 logistics to support them. Low number of tanks, planes, ect. Most soldiers that went fighting, fought untill their ammo run out. Most of them never got any supplies or ammo.
