Personally I’m blaming whoever left the towel roll empty. Le Teenager saw the towel roll was empty and did the responsible thing. Whoever left the paper towel roll by the microwave didn’t lol

Girl... It's not a big deal. Just put the new roll back where you leave fresh rolls and slap on the almost empty one. Or just have two rolls sitting out. One for if you need to take the roll across the room or something for a big spill, and one on the holder for tearing off one at a time.

I don’t know if I’d call that an observational fail. I literally do this all the time. If it gets low I’ll take the almost out one and put a new one on. Sometimes a big mess needs more than what’s left over and nothings more annoying than running out of towels mid way through an already annoying spill

The only real problem here is whoever took the paper towel off the stand in the first place and then couldn't manage to move it one foot to the right to put it back where it belonged after they were done.
I mean, in my house I would probably be the problem. If it leaves my hand, it's like it never existed to me. Not only getting a new roll out, but then actually putting it on the stand when she saw it was empty is a total win to me.

Tbh I'm team Teenager. Cus if I saw the small roll left off the stand so close..... I'd think my mom used it for cleaner and wouldn't want it used for food anymore, so the best thing would be to get a new roll.

This is why I stopped helping my mom with chores before I moved out. 🙂 it didn’t matter that dad or even mom herself was the one that didn’t put the roll back on the holder (or any other mess/inconvenience). It was gonna be my fault either way as if I was the one that made the mess. Anything I did was either wrong if she didn’t like how I did it, or if she did like how I did it, she took credit for doing. And dad would scold me for not helping my mother out. 🙃 That growly scream at the end - thank you for reminding me why I’m so happy I’ve moved out even though it is way more expensive.
