I appreciate the hustle, and the ambition. but I gotta say, as a long time roofer. You should never sweep a roof with a broom. It removes granules which shortens the life span of the shingles. Props for not trying to sweep it all the way down and off the roof. but brushing anything on the shingles will remove granules. If you’re going to clean a roof, I’d say use a blower to remove debris a few times a year. So that they don’t have time decompose and rot to a point you have to brush it. Doing that will be a lot better for the shingles. I understand you probably didn’t have a choice on this one. I’m just saying, I’d recommend avoiding it. All that said. your damn right, people need to get to work, there’s money to be made.
