Last year the church gave 1 billon dollars to relief aide through multiple vetted relief aide organizations. That is not counting the donated time and labor of members. Just how much is an acceptable amount to you (in your expert opinion)for for 17 millon members to give? Name the other churhes that donate that much. If we advertise how much we give then you would be mad that we do it for publicly. If we give it quietly you complain that we aren't seeing where the money is spend. Go watch the churches World Report. We have the money because of tithing and the unpaid ministry at the lower levels of the church. So why don't you go spent your time worrying about something else. If God wants your expert opinion he will call you to the Quorum of the Apostles.I am tired of all these know it all Christians tearing down the church and bad mouthing the leaders.

Not sure what the point is? Are you saying that the church doesn't do what it's supposed to do? Besides that, we only have about $6k per member set aside. I wish it was a lot more. Take Harvard, they have 2.3 million per student set aside. We are extremely talented and gifted with thrift in the church. It just seems that this message gives the wrong message about how much we love the Lord, that were willing to give in time and money. The church could burn my money, I'll still pay tithing. The church is very fast in getting help to those in need. Maybe watching the whole interview will address some of my comment, but this just doesn't look right...
