Did the right thing I wouldnt stop there and wait for rescue that is more dangerous and could take all night. The driver took a calculated risk and it paid off. If you want to be angry at someone blame AT for running its service during a storm and Wayne Brown for not calling a state of emergency much earlier.

If you don't want to be on a bus that charges through floodwater, maybe you shouldn't get on a bus when the city is under water. I'd be very unimpressed if I got on that bus and half way along the driver was like "sorry, this route is terminated because the water is in the way." If I'm getting on a bus during a flood, I've got somewhere I need to be and am okay with whatever risk that entails. And if the bus topples over, I might finally get to use the window-smasher.

This is extremely risky & unsafe. The driver of the bus has no idea what lies beneath the water (the road could of been washed away or there could of been massive pot holes and/or debris). This is definitely a safety issue. Safety is ALWAYS meant to be the first consideration, NOT sticking to schedules. Hopefully the driver gets a stern warning from his employer.
