The reboot films aren't in the same universe as the originals despite the first trilogy showing us how the planet of the apes happened. So Kingdom might be a retelling of the original story.

In the scene where Noah is looking through the telescope I thought he was looking at the moon. But then he tells another ape that he saw a tunnel that swallows light ( a black hole) can’t remember if this is what the astronauts came through in the originals and the Tim burton version. But could explain how the Icarus disappeared in rise

I mean this is a COMPLETELY and UTTERLY different timeline that has already had SO UNGODLY many differences from the original series, so yeah, she VERY LIKELY could be from a space ship. She could have also VERY LIKELY have just found clothes. But point is, you literally CAN'T go "oh thats not right bc it was different in the original" when the series itself has already made it perfectly clear that it IS different from the original.

Update: Wes Ball (the director) confirmed in an interview that there will be no time traveling astronauts in the film. Personally, I think it’s for the better.
