There are tribulations and there's The Great Tribulation. The bible says whilst The Marriage Supper of the Lamb will be going on in heaven, the Great Tribulation will be ongoing on earth. The partakers of the Marriage Supper of the lamb will be the saints raptured (both the living and those that were dead that would be resurrected back to life). Only those without the Salvation of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ would be left behind to face The Great Tribulation. Only those raptured would see Jesus while the rest will not which could some how suggest the "secrecy" and sudden nature of the event.
In the gospels of Matthew 24:36-44 and Luke 17:34-36, it illustrates the unexpected and sudden nature of the Rapture where one would be taken to be with thr Lord and thr other would be left behind.
However Revelation also talks about thr Revelation of Jesus Christ where all eyes (the whole world) would aee him when he reruens with thr raptured saints to defeat the antichrist and begin his mellenial reign on earth.

I grew up believing in the rapture, now I'm the only one in my family that doesn't believe in it, asking God, for help and reading the bible in context is a wonderful thing. š

Your so right about the man-made teaching a out the rapture. However, God promised the Earth to the majority of mankind! Please see Psalms 37: 10 & :11 & :29. The Bible shows that eve. KING DAVID

It makes no sense to provide warning to people who aren't going to be there. I spent all my Christian walk being mocked and marginalized by these people, who some no longer believe in a pretribulation rapture.

There is no secret rapture. When Jesusvreturns and the trumpet sounds, the WHOLE WORLD WILL KNOW. The saints will not go through the time of the mark of tge beast and 7 years of tribulation. Folk needs to read their bibles and STOP looking at these videos. Open your bible and read from revelation 7 to chapter 14. Your preparation is acts 2 vs 38 and living your life according to the precepts of the lord and be a watchman for your soul.
