In the original films, the apes punished generations of humans if they spoke a single word. Eventually, humans forgot how to speak. This is a much crueler, yet more interesting way the apes dominated.

No no no we canāt completely blame the 113 on Willā¦. It was still in the works when Jacobs money hungry ass took it over & kept running with it because Franklin got sick (he shouldāve told Will right then) but he didnāt so Will wanted to wait until he found out what it did to humans which he never got to do because he quitā¦. And also it was the neighbor who actually got it and started spreading it because after he caught Franklin at Willās house Franklin sneezed in his face(that was the neighbor at the end of the movie whoās nose was bleeding when he boarded the plane)
