I always think of "Libertarian" as a term that had to be coined because "Liberal" was stolen long ago by quasi-socialists. I would love to see more Libertarian ideals returned to our government, as we are sprinting hard toward an oligarchical fascist state.

Just because they call themselves in the name of their political party, it doesn't mean that it is what they want. For example, just because an equivalent word to "Socialist" is used, it doesn't mean that they were. (one of the words in Nazi means socialist but they weren't. The USSR had the word socialist, Stalin was forcing feudalism.

I think we should be focus on liberterian ideals as much as possible but realistically it's very difficult to achieve in moder liberal society. The Republic works best but with severe reform, not the unconstitutional socialist democracy we have today.
The Democratic party should be abolished along with future parties that advocate for socialism and communism. It's undeniably the case that ANY party that is fundamentally advocating for policies like defunding police, no borders, free stuff at the expense of others, don't represent the founding principles of the country.
All parties and candidates should be Republican parties, Libertarian parties or any other party that advocate for things within the confinement of the basic goverment framework highlighted in the Constitution.

The problem is that there are many politicians or candidates who speak in the name of liberalism and freedom but actually do the opposite. For example, an Argentine presidential candidate named Milei claims to be a libertarian but has strong connections with the Clinton Foundation and does not propose using a gold-backed currency or Bitcoin, but rather suggests dollarizing the country. The rhetoric of shouting "freedom" may sound very appealing, but the reality is different.

A "simple" question: What happens when two liberties collide? "My liberty ends at the beginning of others." Who decides whose liberty goes first and which goes last? What happens when collective liberty wins over individual liberty, e.g., invasions, climate disasters, pandemics, and so on? The question becomes very difficult when you realize that ANY intervention of a third party (state-like partner) is a limitation to anyone's liberty. Loved your videos Mike.
