I think it’s pretty normal that, since most teachers are female, girls just have at least a slight advantage in all spaces

And this is speaking from personal experience. One of my teachers made the entire class half boy and half girl, which I didn’t realize until later, and rarely ever stopped the girl side from talking while making the boy side answer questions and get openly humiliated. I’d occasionally glance over at the girl side and see people straight up not even trying to look like they are listening
