Damn.. listening to this laying in bed at 2 am while questioning yourself about everything. Remembering the people you missed, the one you loved, your place among the stars, your choices, and everything else that make yourself who you are. It's heartwarming to see that many people in the same kind of mindset. Thanks Lorn you truly deserve to be called "an artist".

I don't think anybody is going to read this, but I'd like to share it anyway.
A couple of years ago I went on an exchange to Edinburgh, Scotland, for a fall term during my undergraduate studies. It was my first time living abroad for a couple of months on end, I was very excited but also fairly nervous. When I was younger, I used to be afraid of leaving home for extended periods of time, so this was quite a big step. Contrary to my own expectations, however, everything went exceptionally well, I found dozens of new friends from around the globe that I am still in touch with to this day and I got to explore Scotland which - if you have never been - I can only highly recommend. On my very last day, I was even sad to leave which I never would have guessed before going there. To mark the occasion, I decided to hike Arthur's Seat in Edinburgh in the early hours of the morning so as to be at the summit at sunrise. I started walking around 3.30am when it was still fully dark and managed to make it to the top just in time to the see the sun come up. When I sat down at the top, I put on this song and listened to it while watching the city wake up. It was incredible and whenever I hear this song now, I always have to think back to that moment.

I discovered this while in an altered state. It was simply a spiritual experience. Profound. It stayed with me for months. When I want to recapture the feeling I come back here and watch again. The combination of LORN's music and GERIKO's visuals is something else. I would love to see more from GERIKO in this style. I must have watched this video at least 100 times by now! Please come back and create some more masterpieces. Sadly, it has been 7+ years.

A bit more backstory from GERIKO, creators of this video "“Right from birth, people receive a robot for their daily needs – cleaning up, games, education, social and sexual life – until the day it signals the end of their right to live on Earth,” the duo explains.
“The robot then follows his owner to one of the Anvil facilities, activating the machine that will end the citizen’s days. During this transition, the body is destroyed and a part of the robot is recycled as a server/funerary urn.”"

I remember when this was the sort of stuff people watched MTV for.
