I finished this 4 hours after she dropped the video at 12:58am EST, but ran into an editing error so this is up 3 hours later. Sorry for that, always try to get quality content out there as fast as possible! Hope you all enjoy!!! 💟💟💟

something i haven’t seen people say is that when taylor walks out of the vault and sees joey and taylor lautner, the vault behind her glows blue which symbolises 1989 still being stuck in the vault

Joey holding the torch with a smirk symbolizes the midnights cover. Midnights was about 13 sleepless nights, but now they're breaking taylor swift with the Speak now portrait after 13 Sleepless Years.

i've seen a lot of ppl complaining about the potential release of 1989 TV being too soon making speak now tv era too short, but i think we forget that this isn't about reliving each era but about reclaiming each album and i can understand taylor wanting to own all her albums as soon as possible

Easter eggs: - bad blood suitcase - reputation vibes in the vault rescue area (sawing off the airplane wing, the staircase) - midnights stars on the girl in the van’s face - the actual vault - red lips closeup RED reference - Lautner, who was on the stage when Kanye took his then girlfriend’s mic away, finally gets to kick ass to help her take her “jewel” back (Lautner’s SNL reference) - Taylor’s black nail polish reputation Speak Now related: - anything purple - “he’s got my past frozen behind glass but I’ve got me” (it’s time to go from evermore) - the way she looks back because she has to say goodbye to that “past” as it’s crashing down but she’s got herself (“I found something they can’t take away” You’re On Your Own Kid) Some of the ones you mentioned I didn’t catch! Great job! I also believe 1989 is next but I think it’ll be next year. August is too soon. Maaaaaybe autumn but it’s such a summer party album and it makes sense to release it before the European leg of the tour.

I also noticed that Joey King is seen with the Mean banjo because she was in the Mean music video, and Taylor Launtner was pictured with the Back To December Piano behind him because that song is about him.

I love how without the video this song is totally differently interpreted. With the video it has a whole new meaning.

I also think that when Taylor looks at joey & Taylor and smiles she said it symbolizes the fans helping her reclaim her music and joey & Taylor were such big parts of that era that she can’t help but be greatful

Had no idea Lautner can do those moves. Impressive as heck. Nice to see him given this spot.

also also, that fight scene with joey, taylor and the five guards is SO MUCH like the fight scene in the beginning of the bad blood mv especially when joey i think?? tosses the briefcase to taylor who uses it to knock out one of the guards, that's exactly what happened in the mv too as far as i remember

The way when TayLaut pops up Joey says “quiet” And he mouths “sorry” I feel like it’s a call back to him regretting not stepping in during the VMA incident. He stayed “quiet” and he is “sorry.” He says he regrets it interviews.

I still think her 1989 album will come out on her birthday, as the album also symbolises her birth year

I 100% think 1989 TV is next, and they tried to throw us out with the rep references with her black nails and Presley's outfit. Just like in the iHeart Radio Music Swards with her hood. Some people were saying the location could be a hint to Rep but at this point she probably recorded all of 1989 and has it in a Vault. She also hinted at it during spotify promo. She had light blue nails just like the album cover 🩵👀 Also the suitcase and the whole action scene is very reminiscing of the Bad Blood MV with the platinum silver suitcase and the powder scene too 😍 This video beated all her other videos for me, ICONIC! 👑😌👏❤

Also, the last date of the Speak Now tour, her final arm lyrics read “You know wherever I am, I’ll come running to see you again”, and considering she was basically ‘locked away’ ever since it’s almost like she was foreshadowing/planning this all along… to finally come back and get Speak Now back one day; it adds a whole different meaning to the final arm lyrics that night

Love this! Honestly this is such a good MV, I think it's one of my all time faves that Taylor has done. One thing I noticed (but it might be a stretch) is the powder compact Joey uses to show the lasers - I think it's a callback to Bad Blood MV when Selena blows the powder at Taylor and she falls out of the window. Also in the Karma MV, Taylor blows purple powder/sand when she's dressed as Dorothy, and the sand becomes the sand timer (Timeless reference?). I'm not sure about Karma, but I think the similarities to Bad Blood is another hint that 1989 TV is next!

I feel like in reputation tv/1989 tv we are gonna see the next sequel of this mv just like she did with folklore and evermore with the cardigan and willow mv.

The scene where we see the different outfits from the different eras and TS running with her SN portrait reminds me of the lyric in her song “it’s time to go. “He’s got my past frozen behind glass but I got me”.

Other than the several references to Speak Now and Fearless, and the Bad Blood themed mv, to me the video screams Reputation TV. The blue/green tint, black hoodie (Ready for it), black nails (Endgame), rings, LWYMMD when she looks back at the building, reputation pose on the floor from LWYMD, costumes behind glass (Ready For It), vault discs look similar to her eyes in Ready For It, ends in the Getaway Car (Reputation), which will head towards 1989. It will end by beginning again, with the one that started it all- Taylor Swift.💜 What an absolute Mastermind 🤯🧠❣️😊 Edit: References to Picture To Burn: taking the picture out of the vault and the black clothes, as well as the banjo. Still trying to figure out what 05 22 20 means (on the screen) and there were 14 buttons and she pressed the third one three times- finger recognition points to Rep. "It's still March" post it note was still hung up. Another edit: upon replaying the video an endless amount of times, I noticed that the CCTV camera (red light) blinks 5 times- 1989. That being said, she had a lot of red lights on her Rep tour. Also, she literally throws the ⚫️ towards the screen (us) from the vault.

In one of the shots with Presley, there's a number beside/behind her that says 05-22-20 which may seem nonsense at first, but swifties can remember that that was the time Taylor put up the Reputation merch again in her website.
