The C300 and C100 are so similar that I have adjusted a custom profile to reflect his recommendations. He has a set for video (Rec709) and "film" uses. I applied his video settings, added a bit more gain to the color matrix (+10), and boosted the low key saturation a little (+8) to provide a slightly more saturated look.

There are two ways to do this on the C300. 1) In video mode. Assign a button to "photo" and then click away whilst recording video. The photos are stored on the SD card not the CF card. 2) In media mode. Assign a button to "photo". Pause the video and press the assigned photo button.
