The time it takes to farm strange coins for a 63 piece of armor with shitty peaks absolutely doesn't compare to just focusing something with a ghost mod. And if xur doesn't have what you need, then you spend over an hour per master dungeon just to get a potentially shitty roll when you could have just gone and focused something from engrams
