As an argument in favor of the patch, bedrock was clearly never meant to be broken. The glitch is non-intuitive and is a clear exploit. Despite this, however, I don't support a patch. This is exactly my problem with the game lately. The black spots on terrain, whatever. Those are fixed easily- shoot an arrow at them, toss a snowball, place a block in them, drink a night vision potion- and you're good. It's the upside down stair/halfslab lighting that bugs the hell out of me.

So there is this glitch where if you hold a mob by a lead in the air it's fall damage accumulates. So if you have to hang on a lead then cut it and it falls one block, it dies. I want this fixed bc it makes transporting animals so hard from long distances. I just want to pick one up and transport it with my elytra like a Helicopter
