Download the latest version of this mod. Place the downloaded zip file into your Subnautica\BepInEx folder. Right click the zip file and select extract --> unzip here (NOT "Extract all"). If you can't find that button, you can instead open the zip file, copy the "plugins" folder, and paste it into the BepInEx folder. Requires Nautilus.

The Bloop is a large, spherical leviathan-class Fauna found throughout the Grassy Plateaus and one above the Northeastern Mushroom Forest. They are a powerful threat in the early and late game for their ability to instant kill the player, regardless of if they are in a vehicle. The Bloop shares many traits of a Pufferfish, having a large spherical body with many protruding thorns across it

It's very similar to Minecraft actually. It's a single player game though but there is a mod to make it co-op compatible. I've heard that misery loves company but

A mysterious cargo ship crashed onto Planet 4546B five years ago. On board were various species of fauna, bioengineered by a shady company that is not formally recognized by Alterra. Most were destroyed in the explosion, but a few specimens managed to escape the wreckage. These terrors are only known under their codenames BLOOP and BLAZA.

Yes. I was terrified of underwater in games prior to playing Subnautica. Even if there were no underwater creatures, it still freaked me out. 90 hours of Subnautica later and I have no problems with underwater in games any more. Well, except for anything involving sharks. I still hate sharks.

The information from the mod developers puts the Gargantuan Leviathan at over 5km (3 miles) in length from nose to tail, which means either the one in the Lost River is smaller than it or the PDA vastly underestimated the creature's immense size.

BioShock is my all time favorite game, but it has very little thalassophobia vibes. Just the beginning moments of the game and a few cutscenes are kinda spooky in terms of fear of the ocean. In BioShock 2, your character does go into the ocean floor area, but it's well lit and beautiful instead of dark, mysterious and spooky.

This is the irrational fear of man made objects underwater. Submarines, statues and wrecks all fill some with dread. We delivered this one in spades, as we have both procedural wrecks to explore for loot as well as some ancient alien structures. These are also really big, which doubly triggers megalohydrothalassophobia as well. 4. Acrophobia

Grab your seaglide, save, and zoom around the kelp forest for a bit. You'll notice pretty quickly that you can easily outrun and dodge stalkers, and they'll stop being so scary. Then, push out into the grassy plateaus and do the same thing with the sandsharks. Practice keeping an eye on your oxygen.

PC. I have Thalassophobia, is Subnautica acceptable? Terantatek 7 years ago #1. It looks fun to create a sub-base. But I'm terrified of deep water. The idea of a large grotesque underwater creature frightens me aswell as the vast empty darkness.

Slowly (!!!) breathe in over multiple seconds...deeply, using your diaphragm. Breathe in using your "belly". Hold your breath for multiple seconds. Slowly (!!!) breathe out over multiple seconds. Hold your breath over multiple seconds. Start again... You can kick it off with 10 seconds and slowly increase this over time.

Yes, but just a fear of open water is not thalassophobia. A phobia is an irrational fear. Some people with thalassophobia can even feel like anxious or a sense of impending doom when they're taking a bath in the safety of their house. It's irrational. If op had thalassophobia the thought of playing a game like Subnautica would be incapacitating.
