Meek Mill has found success with enough silky, R&B-influenced songs that there's demand for more, but there's nothing like hearing the gloriously hard-nosed Philly rapper rip a beat to shreds. This is something he does often. On the long road to Dreams Worth More Than Money, his second album, the most thorough reminder of his skill was "Dreams and Nightmares", the two-part intro and

BY VIKASH DASS. Prior to last week, it was safe to say that Meek Mill was not an album guy. His MMG debut, Dreams and Nightmares was a flop of sorts, crammed with deflated bangers with uninspired sounds and hooks, drab features, and boasting nothing more than some decent mixtape leftovers and an epic, even classic introduction track. The truth is, Meek Mill was signed as (and remains to be, to

Meek's best work! One thing that I've always respected Meek Mill for is his ability to hold his own on a song. He's sound is unique enough to where it sounds new and different. I'd say from everything I've checked out from him,"Dreams Worth More Than Money" would be my go to pick if I wanted to listen to something by Meek.

Meek Mill - Dreams Worth More Than Money (Album Review) June 29, 2015. Before Meek Mill was headed towards L'ville (I'm not talking Louisville either), he was truly winning! He just got out of jail, had a bad ass girl named Nicki on his hip, and a pretty good sophomore album, too; and thennnnnn he got cocky and went at the 6 GOD for no

While Dreams & Nightmares was waaaaayyyy too front-heavy, Dreams Worth More Than Money does a better job at distributing quality. There are still one or two songs I'd cut (around the end) such as Stand Up, but Meek genuienly does his thing. The features on here are great. While Meek plays it a little safe, it's hard to complain.

Meek Mill's second album "Dreams Worth More Than Money" seems perfectly coherent, yet makes little sense. The hitherto kinetic rapper sounds as though someone switched his regular coffee for decaf, and the 'street' within him has subsequently been kicked to the curb.

Dreams Worth More Than Money is a solid studio follow up to Dreams and Nightmares. Meek Mill keeps a level of intensity while rapping on the album that is a bit unexpected, but is definitely worth the listen. As always some tracks resonate with me more than others, but overall Dreams Worth More Than Money is a CD I would recommend.
