The hangar is the biggest of its kind in the world and was build for a huge blimp ment to transport cargo. The blimp project was canceled and the hangar transformed into a tropical island. I haven't been there and I've heard mixed reviews about it but I still think it's an awesome concept and an interesting use for this structure.
