Society for popularization of physics - Fizik.si is a voluntary, non-profit association that was founded in 2008 by three science lovers, all professors of physics.
Due to lack of modern teaching/learning material in our educational environment and because science is, in our opinion, undervalued and neglected, we have decided for its promotion - to bring beauty and knowledge to a wider audience. We set up a website dedicated to science (especially physics) www.fizik.si, where we regularly publish videos of physics experiments. All our experiments include descriptions and explanations. The site contains also news and reports about various events that we have attended as a society in order to promote science. The current responses of teachers and students are positive. Considering the number of visitors and their feedback, the site has proved to be an excellent teaching tool.
