Grambling State signed a contract to play Ohio State on Sept. 6, 2025. It will be the first meeting between these historic football programs, as well as the first meeting against a Big Ten Conference member for Grambling.
Grambling has won 27 SWAC championships and 16 Black College National Championships. Ohio State has won 39 Big Ten championships and 8 claimed national championships.
