Beatrice Allegranti (she/her)Â is an Italian-Irish (born in Florence, based in London), transdisciplinary feminist practitioner and scholar who has been producing international and politically progressive work for 25 years across several mediums including dance, capoeira, choreography, film, psychotherapy, research, writing and pedagogy.
Beatrice's YouTube Channel offers glimpses into aspects of her multi-disciplinary work which tackles burgeoning and interrelated social and environmental justice issues of intersectional body politics, loss, traumatic experiences in mental health, migration and âotheringâ -- through ethical, progressive and award winning artistic practice. Â
For example, Beatrice's Moving Kinship project creates dance with and for people from diverse and intergenerational communities by incorporating a feminist trauma-informed approach into choreography and activism. The long-term project is the focus of her forthcoming book (published by Routledge in 2023).
