If last week's post wasn't obvious enough, I'm going to be taking an indefinite break from this channel.
Over the past several months, ever since the release of Smug Satori Dance 3D, I've been feeling a lot of apprehension about the direction of my content and how I've been approaching things since then. I was dealing with a good amount of IRL problems, and my motivation was just not present anymore. For a few months after that, I decided to resume making content periodically with the purpose of "bringing back the golden days." I promised that I would restore the channel back to what it was known for. All of a sudden, I got a job, I had to worry about paying rent in the future, and my interest on Touhou had started to wane exponentially.
I felt like my recent involvement in the channel was forced; it wasn't out of love or passion for both Touhou and the community, but rather out of my overconfidence and ego, a sense of grandeur that made me prideful in bringing back a time that is now completely inaccessible just for the sake of attention and gratification. Not only that, but as of recently, I've been becoming more and more indifferent towards Touhou as a whole, and I don't want to make content on a franchise that I have a positive view on nowadays. I wasn't making videos for the sake of it anymore, and I was starting to get sick of that bitter feeling.
The only person that I can blame for putting me in a mental quagmire is, well, myself. Nobody else, not even my worst enemies. I've gave myself a false sense of hope that I can string everything back together through forcing out the same ounce of passion, but I only ended up hurting myself and the people around me even further. I realized that the best thing that I can do for the sake of my mental health and my social sphere is to quit making videos for this channel for the time being. I'm taking responsibility for my own actions, and this is how I choose to rectify them.
What I want to tell each and every one of you guys is that you are always a part of something greater. You shouldn't keep on dwelling on the past, that's already long and gone. Look forward to what you can to secure the future that you want deep down. Humans are beautiful creatures, and the world is better than you take it for. No need to drag yourself down and make excessive sacrifices just to atone for your mistakes, it happened and all you can do is acknowledge that it happened. To succeed is to move on and keep making actions that is the best for everyone, including yourself.
I won't be taking down any videos of mine because as much as I want to shift away, I acknowledge that the videos are still loved by many even to this day. I don't want my videos to become lost media, and besides, if I take down anything, there's gonna be that one person who would archive it anyway. I'm still grateful for the support that I've gotten throughout my entire career, and I've genuinely felt the happiest I've ever been at times. Unfortunately, this is where the road splits, and we must part ways.
I'll see you guys again sometime later.

Important announcement that I want to make, but I want to announce that I will be taking a break from this channel for about a week. The reason is simple: I've been feeling burnt out once again, and I decided that I think it's best if I keep content here at a monthly basis. I do feel like focusing on other projects outside of here nowadays, thus that's what I intend to do.
Image below is what I initially planned: a video of Suika, Yuugi, and Kasen combo-ing Reimu together to the beat of Rush E. However, when I get back from break, it's possible that I may shift to another video idea altogether; reminder that Cirno Day is coming soon and I want to do something special for it.
One last thing: I have an alternate channel, but I'm not gonna disclose it until someone finds it. You can probably piece together what this alternate channel is centered around. (it's not saRiver btw)

QOTD: What do you guys prefer?
- Frequent high-quality posts, but at a more bite-sized length (like around 10-30 seconds each)
- Infrequent high-quality posts, but the length for them is longer (around 2-3 minutes, maybe even 5).
Been more than a month since my last upload (IRL stuff is gonna do that to you when you grow up), so I'm curious as to what you guys think.
