Let me tell you about this past Friday—it was nothing short of epic! I had the honor of moderating The AI Roundtable with an all-star panel: Bright Gameli Mawudor, PhD (my RayBan buddy 😎), Nikki Germany (CEO of Moringa School), and Veerakumar Natarajan (Country Head, Zoho Africa - Kenya). We dove deep into the latest AI breakthroughs, emphasizing the critical need for continuous learning and highlighting the booming job market, especially those high-paying roles. The energy in the room was electric as we discussed AI's potential to revolutionize industries. Every moment was a thrill!

But beyond the formalities, the event was pure vibes—amazing people, delicious food, and mwenjoyo all around! Ivy Wanjiru, massive congratulations, and a heartfelt thank you for the invite. Keep soaring to new heights!

And Caroline Mutoko, it was fantastic to catch up after way too long! Janet Mbugua and so many others, thank you for the rich conversations 🙏 #AIGlobalShift #cta101

In 2005, I was deep in the trenches! All I knew was that somehow, someway, I needed to do this music thing! I had just given my life to Christ and was obeying the call to become a rapper. Let me tell you, Maina, I traversed Nairobi looking for an opportunity to record my music. I kept either getting doors shut in my face or being made to wait for hours without ever getting the chance to get into the booth.

That was until I met @tshazi! My boy at the time, Bmac (Brian Macharia), whom I was attempting to manage, was direct neighbours with Tshazi, and he introduced me to him. Tshazi listened to a track I had produced, liked it, and agreed to give me a chance! That's when I recorded "Nimechoka" feat. Bmac (the original version). Tshazi also did me a solid, and together with the Karen boys, he'd take us to Hardy (Karen) for some original mutura! (That's sausage cuisine for my non-Kenyan peeps).

Tshazi was dropping bangers and didn't try to change me or stop me from recording gospel! He'd constantly diss me (in a friendly way) about the path I had chosen, but he never tried to get me off my path. He respected it. We even went on to produce another song, although I never released it. (I later recorded it as "They Say" at Kijiji Records).

"Nimechoka" feat. Bmac was my demo! It was my belief in myself that indeed this rapping path would one day bear fruit. All because Tshazi bothered to give this confused, new Christian rapper a chance!

Years later, I would reconnect with Tshazi. He'd chopped the dreads and was looking neat! LOL! He'd left the crunk behind and moved on to bigger things! But most importantly, he'd found Christ! We'd talk about one day doing his CTA so the new bloods may know of his time in the game! We last spoke a couple of weeks ago; he was trying to convince me to move CTA payment to pesaswap.

Tshazi, thank you for being a door opener in my life. Thank you for everything you did for me. I am so glad that you are with Christ! You will be missed by many... thank you for leaving your mark here. Till we meet again, please do a crunk "Nimechoka" remix with Jesus 😝. Love you and thank you for everything. #PartyWithJesus #RIP

"Content creation as you know it is on its deathbed!" - Richard 'Astar' Njau

We are in the FINAL era of PURE content creation, where the actual content creator is the one who has created the content for their community. We are entering an era where 99% of content creation will be generated by AI, better known as Gen AI.

Content creators will create content to teach the AI their unique style, delivery, authenticity, personality, and more. Content creation, as we know it, will shift dramatically to not just AI-generated content by the creators themselves for their community, but more importantly, content creation will switch to the community creating content for themselves from the content creator’s AI model. e.g. it will not be Njugush creating content for you and me, rather it will be Njugush inputting content into his content creation AI and that AI creating content for you! Or even more crazy you asking Njugush's AI to give you Njugush content based on your needs and wants at that particular moment. E.g. A prompt saying "Njugush AI create 'Coming To America' where Njugush is the main character with Will Smith as his sidekick. Have it be 1 hour long and have it be set in China rather than America"

This isn't a 10-year dream... this is a less than 5-year REALITY! Content creation as you know it is on its deathbed! 3 words #AIGlobalShift #cta101
