Jonathan here, sharing a message from both Alicia and I.
Demi Moore and Bruce Willis divorced 24 years ago. Ever since they've been a wonderful model, not just of healthy co-parenting, but also of a beautiful postmarriage friendship.
I've long admired them. Now, Alicia and I are building a similar dynamic.
Through the years I've loved seeing Bruce and Demi together with their kids and new partners. I've loved seeing her welcomed and included with the children and his wife as they support him in his dementia.
Not all divorces go like this. Sometimes one person is willing and the other is not. Sometimes it's not safe to be in each others lives. Even in ideal circumstances it takes time.
Yet, in many cases, with forgiveness, accountability, and compassion comes peace. Love can change form and not be lost. Family is still family.
Keep shining.
