Letā€™s not talk about the incomparable natural beauty of Ladakh - you already know about it by now šŸ˜€šŸ˜€. Seen it enough in my vlogs, havā€™t you? šŸ˜Šā˜ŗļøšŸ™
Ladakh is unlike anything you'll find elsewhere, I can confidently say this. But it's not just the natural beauty that makes Ladakh a must-visit; it's the deep cultural heritage, the warm hospitality of its people (oh! people - my fav kind of people ā¤ļøā˜ŗļø), and the sense of tranquility that permeates the air.
.
Visiting Ladakh is not just a journey through a stunning landscape, but a transformative experience that connects you to a simpler, more profound way of life. It has touched my soul ā¤ļøā¤ļø and my fondness to Ladakh is only growing day by day. More I explore it, more I want to explore it. More I spend time here, more I want to spend even more time in ladakh. You have to visit it once and see it through my eyes to understan the magic of Ladakh i keep talking about.
.
So, here is your chance to experience something deeper. Join me to Ladakh from 20th to 29th Sept 2024!! This is going to be my 3rd batch to Ladakh after successfully completing two batches. See you :) . Fill up the form in case you wish to join:

Ladakh is one place in India where I have spent most of my time, during my travels in the past 6 years. I proudly call this place my second home. Thatā€™s the reason when you guys kept asking me to organize a group trip, I chose Ladakh as my first destination. If you want to experience Ladakh beyond the touristy itinerary then join me on this trip ā˜ŗļøā¤ļø.

Happy Birthday to YOU - an incredible You at 39!! ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø

Every year on this day, I write a note to myself just as a reminder of my own journey inward. So today I am another year older, another year wiser (thatā€™s what i think), another year filled with unforgettable moments and experiences, above all another year of understanging the simplicity of this life. Out of countless lessons I have learnt in my life, there is this one thing which I want to say again and again. Life is to LIVE.
.
I have learnt what truly matters in life is the simple act of living, to savor the present moment, to embrace the beauty of life itself. All good of it, all bad of it (complexitities of it rather),I have realized the importance of experiencing the full spectrum of human emotions ā€“ joy, sorrow, love, heartache ā€“ and allowing myself to be fully present in each moment. To embrace each day with gratitude, curiosity, and an open heart because the true beauty of life lies not in the destination, but in the journey itself.
.
Grateful for everything in my life, for every person who has touched my life, for every moment easy or difficult that I got to live so far - my biggest teacher in Life. I didnā€™t realize it during my 20s, but each experience, both good and bad, has shaped me into the person I am today. Above all I am thankful to God for considering me capable enough to handle everything what I have been thrown at so far. Thank you for bestowing so much courage and strength upon me. I couldnā€™t have done it all by myself. Thank you for making me compassionate, kind, empathetic and above all a human who can FEEl.
.
If my words matter to you then here is something I want to say to all of you: no matter how much you hate it or find it hard, embrace you every setback, every triumph, every heartache, for they are all part of your journey, molding you into a stronger, more resilient individual.
.
So today is the time to say goodbye to 38 years old Priyanka!! Darling!! you achieved a lot, you touched the lives of thousands of people. You've shown incredible strength, resilience, and determination in everything you've pursued, and I couldn't be more thankful to live you. Your compassion has touched the lives of those around you in countless ways, and I am endlessly grateful to have this body who got to and continues to wear your soul, continues to have this blessing to live you everyday.
.
To my future self - Do whatever you want to do in life. Never lose the sight of person you are. Work on yourself and if you can give anthing to this world then give them love and compassion. Happy Birthday Priyanka> Letā€™s welcome 39 with a bang!!

Last 30 days have been crazy to say the least!! But I love this hustle on most of the days (except the time when my physical body reminds me that I am approaching 40 and back pain is a real issue šŸ˜‚). In the beginning of July, I found myself in Nainital experiencing pahadi hospitality and relishing authentic kumaoni food followed by a visit to Deoghar Jyotirlinga with my entire family - a trip I have been wanting to take for years. What followed next was exploring totally hidden gems of India in Mizoram and Tripura. I even got to spend a day in Myanmar and a few hrs in Bangladesh (indo-bangladesh šŸ‡®šŸ‡³šŸ‡§šŸ‡©border) . Sorry for not being able to upload any video on my YouTube channel since past one month. I was living the moments. Now gearing up to start editing of these vlogs. So what you can expect in the coming days on my channel:

1. Nainital vlog
2. Series on Mizoram
3. Series on Tripura
4. Series on offbeat Assam
5. A few vlogs from Delhi
6. Tons of reels
.
.
I am extremely happy about the response on my recent few series including #SoloInSouth and #arunachalpradesh . Letā€™s do it again.

The places I have been to, the times I lived through, the people I shared those times with ā€” nothing brings it all to life to me like my travel vlog. It does a better job of storing up memories for me than my actual brain tissue can do. Every travel vlog of mine tells a story to me of how I had felt in that place, in those moments, what new I learnt about myself, about that place, about the people surrounding me in that place. And honestly speaking, if I put all of them together, they can literally add up to the story of my life in the past 3 years.
.
.
Nostalgia hitting me hard as I am working on #Ladakh trailer and every bit of words in this series will convey an emotion. And, if you say that I am an extremely emotional person, then Yes I am and I am very proud of it. Cause, not everyone on this planet is capable of feeling every emotion so deep. I feel blessed. Get ready to sail with me as I take you all to my journey to Ladakh with for the next one month!!

Traveling across #India makes me feel how lucky we are to be living in a country that is so diverse. We all should take pride that we live in a country that has such a rich heritage and glorious history. It's my dream to bring stories from every part of India to all of you through my Youtube channel. I have been asked this question countless times "why don't you travel outside India?" It's only because I never feel the urge to. I know the day I decide to travel abroad, I will menifest it. But, no matter how much others ask me to travel outside India or how fascinating the world beyond India appears to be, my heart always desire and dream about living a little in every part of India and carry a bit of every single place of our country in my heart. I am a DesiGirl Traveller and wants to be one always ā¤ļøā¤ļø. I know the world is beautiful and there's so much to learn and see in every part of the world, but I feel my this life has to be spent in exploring every part of my own country. Irony is one lifetime is not enough to be able to explore every single corner of this such a vast country. A thousand salutes to this great nation of ours.
Happy Republic Day 2021!

2nd January - Today marks the 3rd anniversary of my Youtube channel DesiGirl Traveller. I still remember the days when I used to sit at my office desk and dream about being able to speak on the camera one day. The hardcore piscean in me would always sit and daydream, visualise and imagine. My friends and family or even my colleagues would say that "stop living in whims and fancies. Life is what you live everyday". And I would think "why can't my imagination become a reality? Everything that exists today existed in someone's imagination at one point in time. Talk about "Oh! you can't do it" sort of people - I was surrounded by them. Talk about "You are just over ambitious" - I had plenty of them around me. Self-doubt - I was filled with it. And, it happened one day.
.
In November 2017, I was at Hotel Leela handling the shoot of a food show (part of my job then) and our anchor ditched us. My team was in panic and didn't know what to do. I could listen to a voice inside my head "Priyanka, go for it. You cab host the show". Self-doubt, anxiety, embarrassment - everything surrounded my head in that moment, but all of a sudden I saw myself shifting from behind the camera to the front and host the show with the Chef there. It didn't turn out to be perfect. But Man!!! I remember i couldn't sleep that night after coming home. I was way too happy cause that evening I had faced ny fear. I had pushed everyone aside who humiliated me and said that I have weird voice and more than weird way of speaking. A week after that I started shooting videos for my own channel. I shot 25 videos in a month before making the channel Live and since then there hasn't been any looking back.
.
Success means different things to different people. For me, it is feeling the passion towards your work even when things don't go as per your plan, or how you want it to be. I wake up every single day with a zeal and uncontrollable energy to work. This is exactly what SUCCESS is for me.
.
Quitting a job that paid me well to strat something from scratch was one of the toughest decisions of my life. But, for the stubborn person I am, I told myself that nothing will come true if you don't work for it. I have always believed in listening to my heart and till now it has been my mantra. 3 years and still going strong. And someone who deserves a bigggg hug apart from me is you guys. You believed in me and loved me and my work in a way i couldn't even imagine. In the end I want to say just one thing : You are reading a girl here who was born in a village where she didn't even have schools. She never saw the outside world for good 15-16 years. Today, she is Free from all this. She is so complete in her own self. Not writing this to gain any sort of sympathy but just to tell you all that you can do everything you decide to do. Never listen to those who say you can't do it. You are the driver of your own destiny. Don't ever ask for permission to follow your dreams. Follow them no matter fucking what. It's important. We have one life here and you are the author of your story, more than anybody else. You are much more responsible for your dreams coming true or not than anyone else in your life you have contacted with. So, dream big, work hard, and make it happen no matter what. Thank You so much to each one of you. I love you all ā¤ļø
