It is with immeasurable sadness and grief that I announce the passing of my little boy, Obiwan Alfonso Kenobi (Master Jedi).
For the past few months his health has steadily deteriorated and, despite our best efforts, last week we made the horrific decision to end his suffering.
He passed away peacefully in his Papa's arms wrapped in his favourite blanket on 19 April 2023. I am utterly broken and miss my little boy so much. It will take me a long while to find peace in my heart again, but I try to find solace in knowing my boy is no longer in pain.
He will always be by my side for long walks across the fields and through the forests, or snoozing on my hip (like in this picture taken last year) during our cosy nights spent in front of the Tellie together.
Rest in peace now my handsome boy, your Papa will always love you.
To all the Obi fans out there - thank you for all the love you showed my boy, I know this will be incredibly hard news to hear for all of you too.
I am not ready or able to talk about this in any more detail, and I do kindly ask for my privacy in this regard to be respected. RD
