Tried something new this weekend— I made a spoiler review of Untethered Sky by Fonda Lee. Would love to hear your thoughts on the book and this video format. I’m thinking in future reviews I’ll do a spoiler-free section at the beginning, and make the rest spoiler-filled. What do you think?

Today’s also a great day to reflect on the history of US colonialism, and the suffering Indigenous nations have faced at the hands of our settler state (historically and presently). This is something I’m always striving to educate myself on more, and I would love to hear about any resources you know of. I personally like this interactive map that shows which Indigenous nations’ land our homes and communities displace and attempt to erase. native-land.ca/ whose land do you live on?
I’m grateful to be safe, healthy, and surrounded by family today. I hope you and yours are doing well too :)

Hey friends!
I've been locked in an epic battle with the YouTube algorithm to get my videos recommended as book content.
If you didn't know, this channel started with a completely different focus (you can still find the old videos if you'd like) and I only switched to book content in the past year and a half. That means that a lot of my subscribers are subbed for the old content, and have very little interest in the book videos. I'm working on privating the old stuff, but that process is like surgery-- I can't make too many incisions or the channel might bleed out.
Here's where I need your help: If you could like and share my book videos when they're recommended to you, it'll give me an invaluable edge as I contend with with the goliath that is The Algorithm. I've been winning small battles in the shorts feed, but I'll need your help to win the war.
