πŸ‘‰πŸΌ SBD STRENGTH BUILDING PROGRAM

This latest program follows percentage based protocols which is what I used back when I was focusing on increasing my strength for squat, bench, and deadlifts!

It's a 5 day training split that will see you working up in weight to test your 1RM at the end of a 6 week block. Hopefully you should get a new pb which will then allow you to restart the block based off your new 1RM πŸ™πŸΌπŸ˜€

My new training program that I'll be doing starts TODAY for those interested in hopping into the beginning of a new program!

My focus for this training block is to continue lean gaining and getting stronger with my current lifts.
It is essentially a 5 day split that focuses on hypertrophy but I have included squat, bench, and deadlifts as an alternative for those who want it as I personally don't do them!

πŸ’­ FOR THOSE CUTTING
This training program can still apply to you as training doesn't really change even when you're cutting! Your goal should be to try and continue progressing to ensure you're maintaining as much muscle as possible. So unless I'm deep in a competition prep where I'd have to make adjustments to volume and frequency to better manage fatigue, my training would pretty much be the same ☺️

I've decided to end the weekly gaming streams.

I gave it a lot of thought, and it's just not something I look forward to that much every week. As someone who grew up playing games and still plays games, the thought of streaming was always something I've wanted to do. But now that I'm actually doing it, I just can't picture myself doing it long term.

I think I'm just someone who enjoys playing games quietly and in my own time than as a streamer. But I'm glad I gave it a go! I've had the idea of wanting to stream for years now and I never would have moved on if I didn't try!

But thanks everyone for supporting the streams so far <3

So for my last stream, I've decided to do a leg day stream so come tune in!

Rant: stop being afraid to put on weight.

Putting on weight can be scary and it's completely understandable. But I think people get so fixated on the weight loss side of things that people forget weight gain is also a part of the process.

πŸ‘€ You need to spend time eating more so you don't have to eat so little the next time you lose weight.

πŸ‘€ You need to spend time looking the way you don't want to look so that you look bigger the next time you're lean.

πŸ‘€ You need to eat more again for a while so that you don't bounce back and put on all that weight again.

The perception of time inside of fitness is years, not days, weeks and months. This takes a lot of time. You're not going to always reach your goals the first time and that's totally okay. You need to spend time doing that 'other thing' so that you can do your 'thing'.

What people don't see in this 1-2 years of growth in social media is the 10+ years I spent building muscle, learning to edit, and learning everything I know today. And the same can be said with your favourite content creators out there.

I won't always look my best all the time, but I've learnt to enjoy each side of the process and so should you, especially if you want to do this long term.

So learn to be comfortable being uncomfortable πŸ™‚
