Hi everyone, thought I would pop in and give you a quick update! I lost my creative mojo over the past couple of months. Anxiety and self-doubt got the better of me and, like a lot of people, I was overwhelmed by world events. I'm slowly finding myself and my creativity again and I'll be back making videos for you all soon, so thanks for being patient and sticking around.
In the mean time, I've set up a new instagram account for sharing what I do when I'm not sewing, including my furniture upcycles, gardening, cooking and decorating. I don't have the time or energy to vlog on here at the minute, so thought I'd share it all on Instagram instead as I've been asked a few times how my garden is going!

After 29 hours of hand sewing, the flower appliques are all trimmed and sewn on. I'm working on adding the crystals and beads at the minute (5 hours down, lots more to go!). Next video should be up this weekend. It's all taken a lot longer than I thought it would!!!

I'm going to be spending a LOT of time sewing the flowers on to the sunset dress next week, so thought I'd film a Q and A video while I'm doing it. Just as I was getting back into the swing of things I get knocked down by pneumonia (not corona related thankfully!). I'm on bed rest and strong antibiotics while I kick it but at least I have this little guy for company. We adopted him from the RSPCA last weekend and he's already made himself right at home!
