On Memorial Day, we remember those lost in combat while defending our country. But we also must remember the veterans who return home but are unable to overcome their traumatic experiences once they are stateside. An estimated 21 veterans' lives are lost every day to suicide ā casualties of trauma and PTSD here at home on US soil.
We ask you to please join us in honoring these traumatized veterans by providing access to life-saving healing for those still suffering alone.
The David Lynch Foundation is on the frontlines fighting to get life-saving Transcendental Meditation (TM)Ā® access to veterans across the country, many of whom have been left without adequate support in their transition back to civilian life. We cannot continue losing 21 veterans' lives each day to suicide. The time to act is now.
By providing veterans and their families with free TM instruction, weāre reducing PTSD symptoms and suicidal thoughts without medication or therapy based on negative stimuli. When polled, 100% of TM participants reported the practice to be helpful in their recovery. Weāre offering veterans a reliable, science-backed path to hope.
Help us reach more veterans with life-saving TM instruction this Memorial Day. Thanks to a generous group of supporters, weāre able to match any donation made today to make twice the impact.

Thank you so much for helping us honor Memorial Day by bringing healing to those who served.
Our soldiers fight fearlessly for us, but as they return home, who fights for them?
As a retired US Army General, the challenges facing unsupported veterans who are beginning the difficult transition to civilian life hits close to home. Throughout active duty, weāre told again and again, āNo one left behind.ā Yet hundreds of thousands of veterans continue to suffer alone at the hands of their own trauma. Despite the best efforts of the Veterans Administration to reduce suicidal ideation among veterans, we still lose an estimated 21 veteran lives a day to suicide. When we leave a veteran feeling hopeless, we donāt honor our own ethos of āNo one left behind.ā
Our veterans deserve the opportunity to heal the hidden wounds of war, which is why I serve on the board of the David Lynch Foundationās 21 to NONEĀ® initiative. Through 21 to NONEĀ®, thousands of veterans and their families have had the opportunity to learn Transcendental MeditationĀ® and heal from the wounds of trauma, at no cost to them.
For many of us veterans, conventional trauma-focused treatment is ineffective and can even prevent long-term healing. TM is a unique, proven approach that doesnāt rely on negative stimuli or medication, but empowers veterans to overcome their trauma with meditation.
With Memorial Day just a few days away, we are proud to offer hope to veterans still searching for healing with the help of community members like you.

Memorial Day is just around the corner. For all of us, it is a day of gratitude and remembrance for those who put their lives on the line to keep us safe.
Veterans like Corey OāBrien, a US Army and Ohio National Guard veteran who returned home from two tours in Iraq with a traumatic brain injury and PTSD. Acclimating back to civilian life was incredibly tough at first.
āI had a very short fuse. My temper was so intense that at times I scared myself. I found myself reacting to situations with violenceā¦ I felt like a failure.ā
In 2017, he finally found something that helped: Corey received a scholarship to learn Transcendental Meditation from the David Lynch Foundation and our partner, the Resurrecting Lives Foundation. Almost immediately, Corey started experiencing life-changing results.
"I wouldn't have believed you if you told me two 20 minute sessions a day would make a world of differenceā¦[now] I can sleep better. I get more done at home, I get more done at workā¦I became human again. I came back from the dead.ā
Lack of access to life-saving solutions like TM have led to the heartbreaking statistic thatĀ 21 veterans are lost each day to suicide. This is a tragedy, and we can do something about it.
The David Lynch Foundation is dedicated to helping those who served regain their peace of mind by providing free TM instruction to thousands of veterans and their families through our 21 To NONEĀ®Ā initiative. And we aim to reach thousands more.
This Memorial Day, we invite you to join our committed community of supporters and help us reach as many of our heroes as possible. Visit www.resilient-warriors.org/ to learn more.

We are commemorating four years of serving frontline healthcare workers by providing the life-changing effects of Transcendental Meditation through our Heal The Healers Now initiative.
The initiative was launched live on Good Morning America on Monday, April 6, 2020, in the alarming early days of the Covid-19 pandemic.
And weāre honored to continue this work to help healthcare workers, even with the pandemic behind us. Our caregivers and health heroes have always faced work-related trauma, exhaustion, and burnout. HTHN is encouraging systemic change in health systems across the country, supporting entire hospital workforces, from doctors to admin staff.
Thank you for your ongoing support for Heal The Healers Now! Learn more at healthehealersnow.org
Today is #NationalDoctorsDay!Ā Itās timely to honor and support the doctors whom we trust with our health, and this begins with breaking the stigma around the burnout and stress that can come with the job. According to a 2023 survey by The Physicians Foundation, nearly 8 out of 10 physicians acknowledge that there is stigma surrounding mental health and seeking mental health care among physicians.
We launched Heal the Healers Now in 2020 to provide instruction in Transcendental Meditation (TM) to medical professionals at hospitals and clinics across the country in the midst of COVID-19. But even before the pandemic, a Harvard report called physician burnout āa public health crisis that urgently demands actionā with several surveys putting the rate of provider burnout as high as 70%.
Research shows that physicians and other healthcare workers who learn to meditate through Heal the Healers NowĀ experience up to a 70% reduction in emotional exhaustion and 60% reduction in anxiety after practicing TM.
Should you feel inspired, we encourage you to express your gratitude for the doctors in your life today! To learn more, visit HealtheHealersNow.org. Thank you for your support!
The David Lynch Foundation helps to prevent and eradicate the all-pervasive epidemic of trauma and toxic stress among at-risk populations through promoting widespread implementation of the evidence-based Transcendental Meditation (TM) program in order to improve their health, cognitive capabilities and performance in life.
Since opening its doors in 2005, the David Lynch Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, has helped to bring the stress-reducing Transcendental Meditation technique to more than 500,000 children and adults around the world. We focus our efforts on underserved inner-city students; veterans with PTSD and their families; and women and children who are survivors of violence and abuse.
