Doctors of YouTube have some class; I'm browsing seeing dozens of videos of Christian Erikson's cardiac arrest. The dude is still in hospital, put yourself in his or his families' shoes. Health professionals rushing videos out, monetising his illness, showing the clips of his collapse, spreading misinformation (the CPR wasn't started quickly enough?!). We would not widely comment on or speculate on a patient of ours publicly, so why do it with someone we know nothing about? There is a time and a place when information is released, but before that it's just using someone's misfortune for your own gain.

Hi, my name is Ed Hope I'm an Emergency Medicine Doctor and Teaching Fellow (I train medical students) in the UK. This channel is a light-hearted look at hospitals, the human body and what it's like to be a doctor.
In my previous career I worked in advertising by day and a musician by night (I use some of the music in my videos). And one thing I remember is how doctors seem to speak a different language and the world of medicine seemed so difficult to get any insight into, which is a bit of a shame really because your body is the greatest instrument you'll ever own and you may have some of the most life-changing moments in hospital. So let's learn a bit more about them!
