Firstly, we would like to express our deepest gratitude for your incredible support on our Kruger series! It was wonderful to read all your comments, compliments and most of all your recollections of your own wonderful experiences in this magical place.
Secondly, it was quite a mammoth trip with many kilometres and a long time away from home and work, so we're not ready for another long trip yet. However, we struggle to stay in the same routine for an extended period of time, so we will be visiting many new and interesting places over the next few weeks or months, until we're ready to hit the long road again.
We'll start sharing those new adventures with you next Monday, 29 January 2024 at our normal times and on our normal days, which will be 3pm SA time on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays!

COMMENTS AND EMAILS
I've been thinking about this post for a while now and was postponing, but it's important to me and now is as good a time as any.
Engagement with you, our viewers, has always been extremely joyful and important to us and I have tried very hard since I started our channel in 2021 to personally respond to each comment and email. I have been struggling for a few months to do this successfully though, so I thought I'd explain how we'll deal with comments and emails going forward.
By the time we had returned from the Kruger National Park in mid-December, there were about 2100 comments which I hadn't responded to yet, and even more emails. With 400+ videos on our channel and 80 to 120 emails arriving in our Inbox every day, this number just kept on growing and it proved simply impossible to keep up.
So we were forced to rethink the way we respond and / or react to comments and emails and this is what we came up with. While Sonia or I will always read every single comment, no exceptions, it is unfortunately no longer possible to respond in the manner I have so enjoyed doing up to recently. We will always react in some way though and most of the time the same or the next day, so we will always see your comments on our videos, which are of great joy and importance to us.
As far as your emails go, more patience will be required here and it may take several days or even weeks to respond.
We so appreciate your understanding and your ongoing support of our channel and love that you jump on board every time we embark on new adventures.

We would like to thank you for the many emails and comments on YouTube, Facebook and Instagram over the last three weeks, wishing us well and enquiring about our well-being. All is well with both of us, we are doing just fine!
In fact, we arrived back home yesterday evening (Saturday, 16 December 2023) and we thought we'd remind you that our first video of our latest trip will be published @ 15:00 / 3pm SA time tomorrow, Monday, 18 December 2023.

We're a husband and (camera-shy) wife, two normal working city dwellers who happen to love the back roads and dusty tracks where people often forget to go. And this is where we find the coolest people, critters and places which we just have to share with all of you.
We work for a few weeks or months, often Monday to Sunday, and escape the traffic and crowds every so often when we run away to small towns, mountains, plains, rivers and everything else nature has to offer. We sometimes visit a few bigger towns and cities too to broaden our horizons a little. We don't own an off-road vehicle and rent the smallest vehicles with the highest ground clearance we can find.
New videos as and when we have the time to edit and upload between work commitments.
