Arjun Ayyangar is a Goodwill Ambassador for Empower The Children - a USA registered charity organization that mainly supports educational and food programs for slum-dwelling and disabled children in Calcutta, India. Arjun has pledged to contribute US $2 to ETC - www.empower-children.org for every subscriber to his YouTube videos. Arjun has been a Volunteer NASA Solar System Ambassador since 2018. He holds a certificate from Limca Book of Records (2008 and 2009) for playing National Anthems from memory on the piano and in Ripley's Believe It Or Not comic strip (Sep 17 2008) for playing all UN member nations' anthems. He can now play all the National Anthems of the world. Arjun is an inductee at The Kids Hall of Fame. His sister, Aparna, plays piano, harp and flute.
