Totally botched the new short today - got myself mixed up and kept calling every shape a trapezoid! Thanks to people who caught it. I fixed it and it's back up. This is (most likely the last of my shorts series about 0.bbbb... =1 in base b+1 (for b>1).

Have had many of you ask for a visualization that 1 + 2 + 3 + ... = -1/12. Most recent video is my best attempt. Hope you enjoy it. Thanks as always for watching!

Hi Visualizers!

Been busy the last few weeks with relocating and various other responsibilities so I wasn’t able to post much. Still busy with work, but I found time to get a new double angle identity video out today. Have a watch and let me know your thoughts. Thanks!

Posted a bit of a whimsical short today inspired by the video game Mortal Kombat: youtube.com/shorts/eXVAU_ExDy...

While this one is just to bring levity to math, I am wondering if there is interest in a longer video describing more how all the constants in the video are related to the visualizations. Let me know! And let me know your favorite of these ten constants in the comments.

In the new video today, I posted a challenge at the end of the video, but there is a secret. The "rotation" proof doesn't work in general (watch closely in the last animation to see why), but there is still a nice way to compute the geometric series in the rectangle... can you figure it out?

What's the base ten representation of the number (4,3,2,1)_! written in the factorial number system? See this video (https://youtu.be/FE0Vl4zm20I ) to learn more.

Hey visualizers! My last two shorts kinda bombed out. The first one I get because it is one of a four-part series about the same result, but can any of you help me figure out why this Fibonacci identity short didn't do so well?

Thanks!

Posted an improved animation of the sum of cubes - wondering if you prefer narration or not? Here are the two versions:

New: youtube.com/shorts/O_5CnZh-G7Q (no words)
Old: youtube.com/shorts/SZsMVGqUiic (with narration)

What was the best dodecagon area proof?

Last Friday I posted I compilation video of four regular dodecagon area proofs (in a unit circle). I wonder which one you like the best?
