Assynt Field Club (Assynt Wildlife) was founded in 1986 and has over 180 members.
Beautiful, scenic, spectacular, dramatic – all words that have been used to describe Assynt, a parish situated in the North West corner of the Highlands of Scotland and which has some of our country’s wildest and most remote mountain and coastal scenery.
The aim of Assynt Field Club is to encourage the study and enjoyment of Assynt’s wildlife, landscape and geology. We have a programme of talks and other events during the winter and field trips in the summer.
Membership is free and open to all, whether resident or visitor, with funds raised by donations at meetings, etc. All of our members are contacted in the spring and autumn with our programme of events.
