2023, A year of firsts:
- First 1k on my Youtube!
- First TV music placement
- First production music album released
- First music credit in a video game
Was able to collaborate with people all over the world making music. Thank you to everyone who I've been able to share my passion with, whether on this platform or elsewhere. I'm grateful for every file, conversation, and project that brings us together through our love for music.

Happy 2024 everybody! Comment what kind of music content you’d like to see this year!
WOW everybody: thank you so much for the kind comments on this video. I hope these tips were helpful to you. Any other questions about cool music production tricks in Ableton? let me know in the comments!
Been thinking about this video a lot recently. I summarized a 3-hour podcast convo between Theo Von and James Blake. While it's a comedy podcast, there were so many moments of deep, profound introspection about the creative process. I just HAD to make a video about it.
If you haven't seen it, check it out here!
Studies show that people stop finding new music at around age 30.
What do you think is the most important reason for this?
For an upcoming video, I am testing the microphones in our everyday devices and their potential in the studio.
I believe there is so much untapped potential in using everyday devices like phones or smart watches to record songs. This not only opens up new avenues for creating music (you can record anywhere), but also makes it more accessible for everyone, especially singers who might not have access to professional equipment.
I am reaching out to ask: have you have ever tried recording a song using a microphone in a phone, laptop, or any other unconventional recording device?
If you have, I would be absolutely thrilled to hear about your experience! Your insights and stories would be an awesome addition to my upcoming video - and could inspire other aspiring singers and solo artists on their journey.
Please feel free to share any thoughts, and experiences you might have from your non-traditional recording sessions by commenting on this post!
I would be more than happy to give you a shoutout in the video :)
Singers:
I just created this free guide to layering your vocals! 🎙
Will you check it out and tell me what you think? I'd really appreciate the feedback and any suggestions on how to make it even better.
