Growing up Tibby found himself constantly listening to Hip hop, R&B, and after listening to it for so long from such a young age he began to understand it on a deeper level. He started making music in 2006, and recorded his first track on a tap recorder. Influences for Tibby include Prince, Chris Brown, and Lil Wayne, and these artists were equally influential on the sound of āMore Lifeā. Tibby hails from the South Side of Chicago in Hyde Park, and it is common knowledge that life in the South Side isnāt always easy. He feels it is crucial to know how to move and how to pay attention to oneās surroundings, and this is the reason many have lost their lives in the area. In 2016 Tibby had a near death experience in an auto accident, but was lucky enough to escape without more than a busted a lip and was even able to go toSXSW with Lil Durk just days later.
